This morning
The smell of cooked apples and cinnamon
The dog’s bark
The sound of Japanese flute
Floating
Through seaside air
Fills
me with gladness.
What is the source
Of this contentment?
No transaction was made
No ego was stroked.
Wu wei…the golden moment
When nothing was done.
