Old Man Feeding Seagulls

Poetry: Madeline Wierzal

A galaxy of seagulls wheeling,
foam white winged stars around
an old man waiting with
a bag of bread on the pitch black
asphalt, the center of this star system.
For this moment, he’s essential
in a way he’s never felt before.

  1. Amazing piece – Like this one the best – “For this moment, he’s essential
in a way he’s never felt before.”
